Our Vision

We strive for 100% success for every bearcat. We aim to get there by creating a welcoming school culture with high expectations and offering instruction at a level that will guide each student to success. Together with families and our community, we aim to meet the needs of all learners in order to get outstanding academic results.

Building Newsletter Information

It has been an exciting school year, our classrooms are well into daily routines and students are working hard to meet their goals. Your student should be able to talk to you about some of their learning goals and their reading level. Please ask them to speak about their goals and how they are trying to reach them. For the months of December and January, our students and staff will be focusing on self-control and these essential themes:

  • Self-control leads to smart and safe choices.
  • Self-control is reacting positively to frustrating situations.
  • Respect and Responsibility requires self-control.

We discuss the importance of showing self-control at school and at home, and making positive choices with our minds and bodies. Self-control is like building physical muscles. Just as physical exercise determines the future of your body, the mental exercise of self-control determines the future of your life.

Pickup & Dropoff

Students who walk to or get dropped off at school should NOT arrive prior to 8:15 a.m. as there is no supervision for the students until that time. Safety issues and problems tend to arise during these unsupervised times. No student will be released to anyone who is not on the master list. Please call or stop by the school office.
