Save Encourage Educate Dream

The SEED Award Program (Save Encourage Educate Dream) is a competitive award program that allows Battle Creek Public School students to begin depositing funds for their education into a savings account that they own themselves. Each SEED Award is worth $500 towards a 529 college savings accounts at Omni Credit Union and students can reapply each year. All BCPS students, from Kindergarteners to 11th graders, will be eligible to apply for the scholarships each year and awards will be made based on applicants' essays, transcripts, grade-point averages and recommendation forms (Kindergarten through 2nd grade students have the choice to submit an essay or a picture book).
