We're working to create a culture of literacy in Battle Creek, and we could use your help! Here are a few actions you can take to participate:
Be a Reading Buddy
Reading Buddies serve as mentors who meet with a BCPS elementary student each week to read together.
Get Caught Reading
Snap a Get Caught Reading photo and post to your or your business’ or personal social media account (or, send us a photo and we can post it for you).
Set Up A Reading Corner
Set up a an area in your business with free books for students to read. We can even provide a donation of free books!
Share Informational Materials
Hang posters or share other informative materials in your business.
