Dear Bearcat family,
At this week’s board meeting, some members of our staff shared about challenges they have been facing with student behavior. Things are difficult right now for students and adults as the world readjusts to a new reality because of the pandemic. This time of high stress is creating challenging work environments for our devoted staff members.
I want you to know that we heard our teachers and that we are moving forward together as a BCPS team.
I’ve spent most of this week in meetings with individuals and groups of teachers to learn more about their concerns, and we are working collaboratively with staff to come up with solutions. I am pleased to report that teachers, staff, and leadership are becoming more aligned than ever as a result of these conversations. We are in this together, and we will come through this together!
