Welcome to our Battle Creek Central Family Newsletter! We will use this tool to share news, announcements, and upcoming events, supporting our commitment to clear, consistent communication.
This week, we have a few key announcements. We've shared these announcements through the weekly all-call and ask for your partnership in communicating with students at home.
💙 💛 We are excited to work with Every Student, Every Dream, Every Day!
🍳 Class starts promptly at 7:30. Doors open at 6:50, and breakfast is served from 7:00 to 7:45.
📓College Representatives will be sharing information with juniors and seniors this fall. We begin with Albion College on September 29, and U of M on October 2.
🎓There is a Senior Family Meeting on October 1 in the McQuiston Center from 5:30-7:00. Join us as we look forward to this special year.
📱Count Day is October 7. Thank you for being in attendance on this important day!
💙💛 BCC is hosting Caregiver/Student/Staff conferences on October 7 from 2-6 and October 8 from 3-5.
🎉 October 9 is a half-day of school as our staff has professional development in the afternoon.
🦋There is no school on Monday, October 12 in honor of Indigenous Peoples' Day.
📐On October 14, there will be an MCA College Fair from 7:30-11:30 and a Freshman Career Exploration Fair in the gym from 9-1.

🎖 Sports physicals are available through Grace Health.
📱 Cell phones must be put away from 7:30 to 2:40 every day. We appreciate your cooperation. This is now a state law.
📲 Please make sure the Welcome Center has your current email address, mailing address, and phone numbers. We regularly send out information about grades, absences, and upcoming events, and we want to ensure you have accurate information every week.
🔮 We hope all students will consider joining an after-school club or a sport. Here are some of our after-school clubs: Yearbook Club, Tabletop Gaming, Culture Connect, Magic Club, Robotics, National Honor Society, Science Olympiad, Red Cross Club, Gender Sexuality Alliance, Maker's Club, Robotics Club, and Freshmen Homework.
✋Attendance: Good school attendance is the first determinant of high school graduation. Students who miss 10% or more of school throughout the year miss out on significant class time and can quickly fall off track for graduation. Please help us support your children's success by ensuring they arrive on time every day.
