Hall of Fame Wall
BCCHS Hall of Fame

Welcome to the Hall of Fame Page!

Our organization began in 2004 and we hold a celebration banquet in April where we honor the accomplishments of either staff or grads of Battle Creek Central or Springfield High School.  We're known as the plaque group as there are 186 of them on the wall in the main hallway of Battle Creek Central HS.  Since 2007, our organization has been awarding scholarships to BCCHS graduating seniors; and in those 12 years, we have awarded more than $55,000.  The Board is looking to add new members to our non-profit organization.  Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:15 p.m. at BCCHS.  Please come check us out and should you have any questions, please contact one of us.  You will find our contact information on the left of this page.

BCCHS Hall of Fame Donates Locally

The Battle Creek Central Hall of Fame is well known for its outstanding annual banquet dinner to honor past Bearcat students and staff who have made an  impact on the Battle Creek community and beyond. But some may not realize that the organization gives back to the community in many other ways as well.

Since receiving its 501c3 non-profit status , the group has been able to accept monetary gifts, but has also been busy donating locally. In addition to giving out $7,500 in scholarships this year, the group made more than 15 local donations, ranging from $150 to $750, totaling nearly $4,000 in local donations. As of summer 2019, recipients included the BCPS SEED Awards, the BCCHS Forensics Team, InAsMuch House, the Haven of Rest, BCCHS National Honor Society, S.A.F.E. Place, Shopper News, Fort Custer's Memorial Day and Veterans Day activities and several other local causes and organizations.

The BCCHS Hall of Fame board is seeking nominations for the 2019-20 year.  Nomination forms are due by August 1st of each year.  Please click on the link to get a copy of this nomination form.
