21st Century After-School Program BCCHS

The program operates Monday -Thursday from 2:45 -5:45 pm through May 26, 2017. The goal is to increase academic achievement, improve behavioral skills and increase school day attendance. Daily activities include:

  • A healthy dinner/meal  
  • Academic enrichment in English and Math
  • Plato - Credit Recovery
  • Club Choices/Field Trips/Guest Speakers
  • Transportation

The Joyce Ivy Foundation Summer Scholars

The Summer Scholars program makes it financially possible for talented female high school students to attend summer academic programs at some of the most rigorous and selective colleges and universities. Summer Scholars receive full and partial grants, based on demonstrated financial need, to apply to summer program tuition, room and board and travel expenses.  2017 Summer Scholars Applications available December 1 - March 1 at www.joyceivyfoundation.org. Benefits of participation include:
