NEWS Urbandale has new text messaging news service

Urbandale Elementary is proud to offer parents a new way to connect with our school. News Conferences and connect to kindergarten

Urbandale Elementary would like to invite you to Spring conferences! The dates are:

March 20^th 3:25-7:25March 22^nd 3:25-7:15

March 28^th 3:25-7:2

During conferences, we will also be hosting Connect to Kindergarten where you may register your incoming student for next year. Please bring a Birth Certificate with raised seal, immunization records, and a Kindergarten vision screening when you register.

On April 15th, enrolling kindergarten students and their parents are welcome to join Urbandale kindergarten and first grade students for a family literacy night. The night will focus on reading activities for all students involved. Enrolling kindergarten students will have the opportunity to tour the building as well as the kindergarten classrooms.

On May 25th, enrolling kindergarten and their parents are invited to enjoy a picnic lunch and “Field Day” experience with their pre-kindergarten and kindergarten friends. They will tour the building as well as spend time with the kindergarten teachers.

WALKERS/DROPPED OFF?
Students who walk to or get dropped off at school should NOT arrive prior to 8:00 a.m. as there is no supervision for the students until that time. Safety issues and problems tend to arise during these unsupervised times. Also, students eating breakfast should arrive by 8:05 a.m. to eat breakfast and get to class to avoid being tardy.

CHANGE OF INFORMATION Update any change in address, all phone numbers (cell/home/work), emergency contacts (names and numbers), daycare providers (names and numbers), etc. It is very important this information is kept current at all times. No student will be released to anyone who is not on the master list. Please call or stop by the school office.
