GED, Adult Basic Education,
and
English Second Language classes
with CERTIFIED TEACHERS

 

Please bring the following to register for classes:

 

If you are 20 or older on September 1st

Photo ID - Driver's License or State ID
Social Security Card (or number)

If you are 18 or 19 years old after September 1st

Photo ID - Driver's License or State ID
Immunization Record
Birth Certificate

Enrollment will be held Monday through Thursday at 8:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m.(noon), and 4:30 p.m.
Allow three hours to complete the registration process; completing application and testing in Math and Reading - to identify current reading and math levels (testing may be done over two days).


We provide free highly individualized classes for adults who are 18 years old and up where students work at their own pace and academic levels.

Classes Offered:
 

  • Basic Reading, Writing, and Mathematics
  • GED Preparation (or equivalency)
  • English as a Second Language
  • Citizenship
  • Computer Instruction

Schedule:

Choice of three periods per day
Monday - Thursday
8:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
12:00 p.m. (noon) to 3:15 p.m.
4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Classes are also available to inmates of Calhoun County Jail.
