Bearcat Success Academy

I would like to welcome you to the Bearcat Success Academy.  I am delighted and privileged to be your principal.  I am excited about this year, and our students have already begun to demonstrate purpose and their desire to plan for greatness.  It is our commitment as an Academy to utilize a team approach to develop a strong community of learners focused on academic achievement.  We will assist every incoming ninth grader in making the transition to high school academic standards, expectations and procedures. 

Our website will have upcoming events posted, as well as academy goals and standards.  Additionally, there will be a newsletter each month discussing all current topics that will be sent home.  As a parent you will know how your student is doing frequently because approximately every 3 weeks progress reports will be mailed home.  You can also access grades on line daily through Parent Internet Viewer. 

It is essential that we have a strong partnership between home and school that is centered around student success.  I have a dynamic team of professionals that are working hard to ensure that every student reaches his/her own personal best.

How to get to the Finish Line

After signing the Class of 2015 “Commitment to Graduate Banner” all freshmen at the Bearcat Success Academy took the following pledge at their January class meeting.

The banner was presented by class officers Adis Garza-Mancio, Joran Brown, Thomas Brown, Nick Hook, Cora Crisher and Paige who led the class of 2015 is reciting the pledge.
